Winery intern Calah Kaslow crushes grapes.
Calah Kaslow, a 21-year-old senior agricultural communications major at the University of Arkansas, is the winner of a photo in a contest of AustraLearn’s current New Zealand interns.
Kaslow, who grew up in Santa Barbara County, Calif., and came upon her interest in wine via proximity to the vineyards there, is learning all aspects of vineyard operations and wine making this spring during her 10-week internship at Stonyridge Vineyards, a world-renowned Cabernet-blend winegrower located on Waiheke Island, New Zealand.
