EuroLearn Announces Spring 2010 EuroScholars Awards
Four North American Students Receive Awards To Do Undergraduate Research Abroad In Europe

Four North American Students will get extra financial support as they venture off in spring 2010 to do research at various universities in Europe through the EuroScholars program, designed for advanced undergraduate students and postgraduates looking for international research experience.
The scholarship recipients include:
Jillian Fiore of Rutgers University
-Fiore, a 3.8 GPA student who will join a research project on Terrorism and Counter Terrorism at Leiden University in the Netherlands, is receiving a €2,000 (about $2,900 US) Institutional EuroScholars Award.
Kerry Hunter of the University of Manitoba, Canada
-Hunter, a 3.89 GPA student who will participate in a research project on Molecular Regulation of Animal Development through the microbiology department at the University of Helsinki in Finland, is receiving a €500 (about $750 US)/ EuroScholars Award.
Stacy Keller of the University of Tulsa
- Keller, a 4.0 GPA student who will conduct genetics research at Lund University in Sweden, is receiving a €500 (about $750 US) EuroScholars Award.
Courtney Schirf of Mount Holyoke College
- Schirf, a 3.83 GPA student who will conduct research through the Computer Science department at the University of Helsinki in Finland, is receiving a $500 scholarship (about $750 US) EuroScholars Award.
